Christmas was a ton of fun, it was the best one since my childhood days. Not really for presents, but I really enjoyed spending time with family new and old. ![]()
present-wise I had gotten my drafting table that I love oh so much a bit before the holidays. here's a pic of it with a comic I'm practicing my inking on:

you can see the awesome pic my love made for me over there on my wall too. ![]()
as for other random stuff, pat is awesome and also got me the complete Bone collection, which I have already finished reading yesterday. lol it's awesome...gets a bit too fantasy-ish for me at times, but an overall charming story. Jeff Smith's inking is my new greatest subject of envy.
hmm...other stuff is that we got Wall-E and Dark Knight on Blu-Ray, which is awesomeness. aaaaand after christmas pat and I went to the malls around his area and I ACTUALLY found the Third Phoenix Wright!!! I've been looking for it for MONTHS now, and I got the last copy in that mall. amazing. still, I'm forcing myself on finishing the one I borrowed from ~KitsuneSam first so she can have it back in this lifetime. lol I also got Assassin's Creed for the ds, and it's a lot of fun. I SUCKED so bad at first 'cause I never really played many games besides rpgs and whatnot...but now I got the jist of it, and I love it. ![]()
my awesome best friend ~loeki got me a gift card to pearl and I really want to use it and some other money I got to buy a reeally nice set of watercolors. I'm gonna wait to ask my teacher though, 'cause I have no clue. lol I'm looking forward to it.
for sake of talking too much, I'll stop there.
lol
These are some close-ups from the comic I am inking now. It is REALLY old, one of the first of last semester. I still love it, and I am happy to finally have a chance to ink it. I kinda wanna color it too if I have the time.

The brush is SO hard for me to control it's crazy. this is taking forever, but I hope it will be worth it. I am determined to master this...grr!
Random: I really want to watch Avatar. I feel like the only person in the world who hasn't seen at least one FULL episode. I'm gonna go find it...somewhere.
Amazing artists who deserve to be the famous ones in an art community:
most of my friends at sva hate dA, so only a few actively use their pages lol but here are those who are here:
If I missed anyone, tell me and I'll add you~! ![]()
you guys are what make dA a tolerable community, you're the best!
My watchers are the greatest, I really appreciate everyone~! ![]()

It's looking good so far! You seem to be remembering the thin-to-think line mantra, which is key to the brush. DON'T try to do it like Jeff Smith does in the video you showed me; even I, who began inking by using a brush, is not even close to that. He uses that brush like a pencil, which is inhuman.
I really like that panel of the girl in that animalistic pose. I was a little bit iffy on the lack of background when it was only pencil, but it looks awesome with the background totally blacked in.
I had a really good Christmas with you, and can't wait to see you again! I love you!
