Because...well, I wanted to get a pair of high heels, but I don't think I could ever wear normal ones. So I bought for comfort and decided to make my own! It didn't start out as pokémon, but...come on, if I'm doing it, it was bound to end up this way from the beginning. :D :heart:

I think my level of geekdom has reached a new low, and I couldn't be happier. :floating:


...does anyone know of a good varnish to use on shoes? I bought some, but when I tested it, the white paint smeared an' I'unno why. Please share your wisdom if you have it? What should I do? I actually want to be able to wear these...they're really comfy... ^^;

+LUCAS Liquid Acrylic Paint (but I wouldn't recommend using it on leather, that was a noob fault on my part)+ArtDECO Paint Pens (worked much better)+

Wow, I want me a pair of those, although I'd prefer them to be sneakers, but meh... I'd still wear 'em. Tell me when you plan to sell some... ;P

Ha ha! Awesome! I've never varnished my stuff so I don't know, but if you look in the fabric-paint-section of artstores, maybe there'll be a clear kind you can use?

Holy hell, I want those. :(

Also, I used Grumbacher gloss varnish spray for some of my acrylic paintings. It's great for keeping moisture and grit off the paint. However, I'm not sure how good it would be on leather, or if it's flexible enough for a shoe.

Go to a shoe repair shop and ask for advice.

varnish? i don't know of anything art wise, but you might want to go to home depot and ask. you know, cuz they might have something to help prevent wear n' tear? idk but it might worth looking into...
