I haven't had the time to do much art lately, but I figure I may as well post the second page to the new FT to show more of where my style is going.
I did this a while ago, but just got a chance to scan it in now...because I'm doing the pages on larger paper, it's so annoying to scan in and piece together. but since this new style relies completely on traditional techniques, it's necessary, and I prefer it.
I'm working on the first 10 pages now, but I'm being so nitpicky with them I don't know when I'll be able to start updates again...I keep re-doing every panel so many times!
I hope it will be worth it in the end, and I hope you like it. what are your thoughts? I am trying to get away from a purely manga/anime style and find my own. what do you think of it so far?

That third panel has a great expression. Her face says leagues in just that one panel, and expression is one thing that I think you're really going to be able to have fun with in this new style; it's perfect for it.
If I may make one tiny (and in the long run, inconsequential) nitpick? The toes on his right foot look a bit disconnected. You would probably be able to see the side of the pinky toe in that pose, and just showing that would probably fix the whole thing, since that is the most forward part of the foot. One swipe of white ink and the problem is solved.
If Keith saw this, he would bitch about the hatching not following the form (curved surfaced should have curved hatching, blah blah), but that's just him. I have no problem with it now, but it's something to think about, I guess.
So, yeah, it really does look great, and I'm eager to see more! I love you!
